MIKEAL ANTHONY GRETO & THE FLOOD
Originally started as a band collaboration between Greto, Chris Miller, Matt Tenaglia and Joe Primavera, The Flood has evolved over the years into an extension of Mikeal's solo work. The initial 6-song self-titled EP, written by Greto, was released in 2006 with the singles "Breakdown", "Inside Your Head" and "Like the Sand" being released in 2007 and 2008. After Joe parted ways in 2009, the band paused until recently rising back to the surface as a backing band for Greto's new solo material. The new band features longtime friend and bandmate Jeff Campbell on guitar/mandolin/vocals, Chris Dougherty on bass/vocals and Bill McLaughlin on drums. Recent shows at The Queen Theater, War3house 3 and Jamey's House of Music have proved that The Flood's new sound is pushing it's boundaries even further.
